Stanley
D. Huffaker received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University
of Southern California.

As a principal with Duplanty, Huffaker Associates (DHA) Stanley D. Huffaker
participated directly in many international projects and operations
of his architectural company. The firm worked in Mexico (Children’s
Hospital), Vietnam (Fleet of Hospital Boats servicing the interior),
and various Children’s Hospital facilities in Africa. The firm
also worked as consultants for the Munich International Airport in Germany
and participated in the international bid for the design and construction
of the Santiago de Chile International Airport.
In the Republic of Panama, Stanley D. Huffaker has been active since
2002 as a real estate investor, as well as –starting July 2005
– as the president and managing director with Grupo Iberia North
America, S.A. (GINA, S.A.) a sustainable tourism and residential tourism
infrastructure development corporation, headquartered at The City of
Knowledge in Panama City. He is also a consultant to various international
real estate development/investment projects in Panama.
In the United States, Stanley D. Huffaker, A.I.A., is the president
and managing director of CDA Architects, pllc, an Architectural and
Development firm specializing in residential and light commercial projects.
Mr. Huffaker is both a licensed architect and general contractor, with
45 years of professional experience in the design and construction of
major projects.
From 1966 to 1974, Mr. Huffaker was president and managing partner in
Duplanty, Huffaker Associates, Architects, a multi-disciplined firm
providing architectural design, master planning, interiors and graphics,
and construction management. The firm designed and master-planned a
vast diversity of projects, including major works at Los Angeles International
Airport, industrial and commercial buildings, shopping centers and shopping
center rehabilitation, medical and hospital facilities both in the United
States and overseas. The also completed the design and master planning
for numerous resort facilities in Mammoth Lakes and Palm Springs, Calif.,
Telluride, Colorado, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. which included condominiums
and hotels, apartments, and single-family homes. They received nine
outstanding design awards during Mr. Huffaker's sojourn with the firm.

Mr. Huffaker founded DHA Construction Services in 1974, as a joint venture
company in conjunction with another development firm in Santa Monica,
Calif. DHA Construction operated as an independent development and construction
company from 1974 to 1990. During that period, the company designed,
constructed and marketed through limited partnerships approximately
36.4 million dollars worth of residential condominiums and single family
homes including 15 custom homes in a gated community, a 32 unit and
an 18 unit apartment complex, a 4 unit beach front condominium in Long
Beach, Calif. and numerous custom home remodeling.
Mr.
Huffaker relocated to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1994. Presently
the firm is developing a multifamily condominium project called The
Village in Coeur d’Alene. The project is a multiyear development
marketed to the “Empty Nester” buyers with gross sales in
excess of 25 million dollars. The firm is also planning and design consultant
for a major ski condominium development and a redevelopment planning
project in a local mountain and mining community
In
1994 Mr. Huffaker became a consultant to the insurance industry and
functioned as a “Forensic Architect’ reviewing building
failures from the California Earthquake, ascertaining the cause and
outlining the methods of cure.
